Emiliana Torrini (1977), una cantautora islandesa de ascendencia italiana, creció en un pueblo cercano a Reykjavik. Obtuvo popularidad a nivel internacional con la publicación de su álbum de debut "Love In The Time Of Science" (1999. Posteriormente colaboró en la banda sonora de "El Señor de los Anillos - Las Dos Torres" con la canción "Gollum's Song" y con la estadounidense Kylie Minogue componiendo sus éxitos "Slow" y "Thievery Corporation"...
Su último álbum es 'Me and Armini' (2008), el cual está convirtiendo a esa cantautora extraordinaria en una de las voces más apreciadas en nuestros tiempos.
